So, I was supposed to sell Bioshock Infinite to "xyz.RaVe" through my alt account "The Rabbit", only to find out later that I transfered (to my alt account) and sold him, by mistake, the pre-order version of the game (with a price difference of 10 keys). By the time I told him, he claimed that he'd already traded it away without him realizing it was a different version. I had my doubts so asked him to link me to the buyer but he refused and told me that he (the buyer) had already used the game (which still doesn't explain why he wouldn't give me the link).

Furthermore, you can see in the screenshot provided that he claims that he deleted the guy, but I noticed right away that he had several friends who were added today (14th), so most probably he is not the type that deletes someone right after a trade.

It goes without saying the fact that I highly suspect that he found out about it being a pre-order and that he sold it for a higher price. It might look as it is not really worth the effort, but I dislike cheaters, especially ones who were reported on this site before.

    Thank you for listening.

it was only your fault that you traded me the pre-order version, i didnt have reasons to lie about game being used already, since why would i do that?i already had the game myself, got it for free by buying an AMD 7000 series graphics card, also about people i added, i kept adding some people just to ask them if they would trade item im looking for, and yes i delete people after i dont need them anymore if it comes to trading.U also were commenting (twice) with both of your accounts that im a scammer, which is not true and u just lied to people.

will provide any info needed if admin ask for it.

Regardless, the fact is that since xyz.Rave is no longer able to return the game, he will need to pay the 10 keys difference in order to make up for the price of the game he received versus the price of the game that was agreed upon in the trade. Considering there is nothing denoting the difference between the game and the pre-order other than the smaller text, I can see how it would be easier for either party to not notice it. It is only right, however, that xyz.Rave make up the difference for the game. It's like if you walked into a jewelry store and the clerk gave you the 2 carat diamond rather than the 1 carat diamond that you bought. It is only ethical to return to the store and exchange the item for the item with which you paid or to pay the difference. Otherwise, it can be considered theft.

I hope to see this misunderstanding resolved soon (as, in by Friday April 19th at 11:59pm Pacific Daylight Time US) and to the satisfaction of both parties. :)

How many times do I have to say that it wasn't your fault (although you too should've checked the version before accepting the trade). However, that doesn't give you any excuses to take advantage of me and treat me the way you did. I don't care about the value of the game, I care about what is right. If admins think that you weren't a cheater, then I'm totally fine with it. Although I would still have my doubts as your actions after the trade were completely un-explainable.

If he is really found to be innocent and had sold the game for the value of a normal version, then I dont see why he should pay me 10 keys. However, if you found otherwise, I think he should be marked as a cheater or something. I think i'm being fair in both scenarios.

Just trying to do the right thing, if you guys think it is not worth the effort, then feel free to close the case. I thank you Thomas and Helen for your consideration and wish you both good luck in your other cases.

Okay, okay. Enough. No more name-calling. One of the moderators will be contacting you, xyz.Rave, regarding your trade history. Hopefully we can get this case closed by the end of today.

    Well this is the issue:
    * We see xyz.Rave has made several trades 1:1 with a Max's Head for Bioshock Infinite
    * xyz.Rave told us he traded this Bioshock copy in question to The A.D.D. Kidd
    * In this trade, The A.D.D. Kid not only traded him a Max's head but also a vintage lugermorph that is worth about 10 keys. x.y.z.Rave also traded him a Surgeon's Stahlhelm but this hat is only worth a few refined- nowhere near a vintage lugermorph.

Now why would this trade garner more items for x.y.z.Rave unless Rave knew that this was the pre-order copy and thus worth more?

Therefore the evidence indicates that Rave knew that it was the pre-order copy before he traded it to The A.D.D. Kid. Therefore he could have reversed the trade with Grumpy Arab before the trade took place. He did not. Therefore, Rave does indeed owe Grumpy Arab the additional 10 keys as Rave did sell his copy for the pre-order price and not the normal game price.

Great to hear. That is why I didn't want him to re-add me. He gave up way to easy to such accusation, which added to my previous doubts.

Anyway, I logged in through this account to confirm that this "The Rabbit" is an alt account to my main "GrumpyArab". Please let me know if you need anything else.

thats not correct, he didnt need the lugermorph and he said he likes helmets in tf2 so he wanted it in return, if you could add him and ask, he would tell you that he did not ask for preorder version of it.A.D.D kid is not a trader + he doesnt play tf2 much anymore, therefore he doesnt care that much about that lugermorph since he also had one from Poker Night 1 (he only cared about weapon itself, not the version or value of it).
