Realized the TF2 items I received from Skoot were missing and figured out where they had gone to using the trade history. It was quite apparent that the items had been stolen and then traded to me. As you can see in the screenshots, Steam support even admits to it. I was rather discouraged and quite frankly haven't traded or even used Steam much since the resolution which is why I'm only posting this now. I feel it should be enough evidence regardless of not having a conversation log, but whatever you feel you need to do. Skoot hasn't been online for over 3 weeks which is shortly after the last message from Steam support so he may have received a trade banned and simply never acknowledged it and abandoned the account.
Can you please also add a screenshot of the trade from your inventory history. My Profile -> Inventory -> View Inventory History (in the upper right corner of your items)
Peroxide - while we appreciate the report, Steam Support states that "the items you have received via the trade were hijacked from another account." This could mean that scoot's account was hijacked, or some other account. We cannot necessarily take any action against this. However, we will archive this report in the event that something like this happens in the future.
