Attempted impersonation scam


This guy named Warhammer (at the time) added me and offered 40$ for my TF2 Logo Tam o' Shanter.
He increased it to $50 after I said no, and I figured that with a private steam profile, 0 playing hours, and no trades on outpost, this was probably a scammer alt. So i went along with it so that I could catch him. He asked if I had a friend who could middleman, and I said yes. I got Nurse Gloomy in chat and we worked out what would happen. So I traded the hat to Gloomy and waited to see if the guy was actually going to send it. But nope.avi, someone with my username added Gloomy and asked for my hat back. I checked Warhammer's profile later on, and saw that he had changed his name to Coolguy, but not Mike-da-Magnet. So this means either he has an alt (most likely the case), or he has a friend with him. I explained what was going on to Gloomy, but he had already closed the chat box with the fake Mike-da-Magnet. So I'm going to upload as much info as possible, with the exception of the profile of the impersonator. This took place on two different computers, so I'm going to be uploading evidence in segments. Gloomy is also going to stop by and tell his tale.

I could see if Gloomy still has him in his friends list, but I don't know who the impersonator was or where the possible alt account is. I can't look through Coolguy's friendslist due to it being set to private. The scammer likely deleted Gloomy right after the scam attempt. I'm fairly certain it was an alt account however.
