Description: First of all, I do want to point out that I was not indeed scammed, but that I was victim to what I blieve was an attempted scam. Here's what happened: I was on a trading server and traded with that guy edmcdermotlfc. I showed him the items I was willing to trade and when I asked him what he had/was trading, he asked whether his items hadn't shown up on my screen. (He hadn't put up any items at all) Then he said all I had to was to trust him - his internet would do such things - and that he had put up "a full page of strange items (...)" (see first sreenshot) which I would receive upon trading with him. I then took a screenshot of the trading window and used the status console command to find his steam id. The second sreenshot is not that relevant; it shows the window before he closed it - but in it he gives his explanation of the events (his internet connection), so I thought I'd include it.

Note: As no actual scam took place I'm unsure about whether this belongs here (this is also my first post), so sorry in case it does not belong here. And since it was on a trade server, all our chat happened in the trade window, so I can't include any steam chat.
