    I was tagged because of a raffle scam where I unfriended [IAATG] Brain who entered the raffle. I unfriended him because I was canceling the raffle, but didn't give him his key back.
    I returned the key to him, this is why I think I should have my tag removed. The raffle was in no way meant to be a scam, I just made a stupid late night decision.

    You only traded him back 10 days or so later probably as a result of being marked a scammer, and what about the others who entered the raffle? Please explain,

    I have you banned on EE due to "User run Raffles" under the name "Colossal Waffles | Raffle 2/15" - Our rules are specific for this exact reason of preventing scamming and the fact we run a custom script written by myself and another member of my group for our trade servers to control this. If you do succeed in getting scam tag removed - then you will need to post over on our forums - www.endlessepidemic.com so we can discuss removing the perm ban on you.

    The others who were entered in the raffle were not scammed, they were online when I canceled the raffle so I traded them their key back. The reason I did not give Brain his key back was because he was not online, so I made a late night decision to unfriend him. As for trading him ten days later; yes, it was because of being marked a scammer, I guess it knocked some sense into me.

    As for my ban on EE, when I advertised my raffle, the ban was originally for 1 week. I assume that the permanent ban was because I was marked as scammer and that just topped it off? And if I do in fact get the tag removed, I'll be sure to post on your forums; your servers are some of my favorite trade servers.

    Is there anyway to make the process faster?

    For your information, I was one of the people who entered his raffle for a Bill's. I gave him a key and was returned because of the cancellation. I really liked the fact that he returned the key on time, so I befriended him.

    Shouldn't he have an EE tag then? Seems weird that he broke a rule that is basically scamming and doesn't have a tag for it. (at least on the server in which it occured)

    I don't know the full story, but it looks like the reason he got banned is because of an SR appeal. He was banned on the 12th of March on EE, was that before EE joined SR? Or did the ban just slip under the radar or something. Or both? I have no idea. Just curious.

    I didn't say I made one to prevent them, It is for running them as it is a highlight to our servers - so to avoid confusion one of the rules we have is users are not allowed to run them. If I see something in the logs or hear a report from someone while no Admins are in the servers it gets dealt with. Some people don't allow banging of those frying pans or noisemakers or spraying porn , we don't allow users to run raffles. I'm very relaxed on things, I don't give a s✿✿✿ if you curse so long as you don't chat/mic spam it, don't care if you spray porn (I like it) or anything else, don't care if you sell games for money, keys at an amount different than 2.33 etc etc.. all those rules to me are lame and the game is rated so either deal with it or leave and I don't have any complaints. In fact I seem to be gathering a nice player base because of it.


    Nope, I didn't tell anyone to apply a tag as he didn't scam someone or attempt to do so on our servers as I do understand that some people do try to run legit raffles we just do not allow them on our servers unless Admin controlled thru our script. ME and ME only will tell SR when an EE tag is to be placed on a user if I have sufficient evidence that they either attempted or completed a scam on our servers, not otherwise.

    EE has been a part of SR since last year at some point... but its been a while back not sure of exact date so we ain't no spring chicken to the hen house. Waffles was banned by me for user run raffles which is against our rules... scam attempt or not WE are the only ones that will run them on our servers. As you've seen he was banned on the 12th yet the report against him on SR was on the 13th..appears he was on a raffle spree all over the place which whatever he does on other servers or sites is his business, but no he wasn't banned cause of an SR apeal...no clue where you got that from. As stated above - ME and ME only will tell SR when an EE Tag is to be placed on a user if I have sufficient evidence that they either attempted or completed a scam on our servers, not otherwise.

    Now I'm confused. When I read this.

    You basically say 'No user run raffles, we have a custom script to control this' so I thought you might have some sort of wordfilter, or something like that.

    Based on the evidence you provided, it's apparent that you did actually scam Brain.
    +1 for returning the key, but you scammed, and scammers stay marked.
