Hello, I am writing to whom it may concern about this. Over a year ago I was hijacked and my account was being used by another person. By the time I retrived my account it was too late: several of my items were taken and they were using my account to phish, hence why I was banned. At first I couldn't care as I was only interested in playing the game. I did try to revoke it at the time but my items were never recovered. Again, I was playing it for fun and not for trading at the time. However I keep finding now I can not join in with my friends due to my false status. Can you please look into this and see if I can go back to a normal status.

I know this guy IRL and can confirm his story. I notified him when he first lost his account that he was trade banned on here, but as he wasnt into trading at the time he never bothered to resolve the issue. however he has decided to get back into trading and as such as decided to try and resolve the issue.

if you could look into his case that'd be great.

Since you got the account back, I assume that you made a Steam support ticket. I'm pretty sure the admins are going to ask you to show the entire ticket, minus any personal information.
