    Hello. Yesterday i had a ban on TF2OP and a tag here. The reason was: TRADING WITH SCAMMERS, INCLUDES BUYING V. SHORTSTOP from scammer. But i bought that item from guy, who has not tag on steamrep! Also, i had 1 warning from Diego (trading with scammers) and 1 fake tag (someone confuse smth and made fake report. then i spoke with Diego and he deleted tag ) That`s why i`m asking you to help me with this misunderstanding and deleted this scammer tag cause i did not do anything illigal like hijacking or anything like that. I just did not check some traders on steamerep.. but shortstop was selling by none-tagged guy! Help me with this problem please.

    I added this user to figure out how he got the shortstop. I helped him check his inventory history and he said the user who sold it to him is http://steamrep.com/search?q=7656119805613373. he didn't realize the user was a tagged scammer.

    ah.. my mistake. That guy has steam rep tag :( Anyway it is second warning D: And i must not have scamer tag.

    Your appeal has been reviewed and your ban will be reduced to CAUTION for the following reasons:
    • Time already served as banned for the offense
    • Lack of other reports against your account
    • Low severity of the offense(s)
    • Age of the appeal without admin response
    Keep in mind that being reported for further fraud while marked with CAUTION will leave you with much less benefit of the doubt. Be very careful and open/honest in your transactions, and keep good records of large transactions in case there are any disputes.

    I'll note that since you've been warned many, many times now, if you trade again with someone banned for fraud, then there'll be no more benefit of the doubt.
