After this short discussion which we had (first screenshot) he went offline for over 24 hours, so we continued the discussion on the next day (as seen from the second screenshot). Well, he started the second discussion by asking me that "do we have a deal?" which is kind of a funny question considering that he didn't had even stated which item he was interested in. I said this to him and he continued by putting more pressure on me with "it's no or yes?" question. He then said that he wants to buy "unusual hat for cash" and after I asked him to be more specific he mentioned that he wanted to buy my unusual steaming samur-eye. Well, you can read this all from the screenies. Thing is that this guy doesn't have any sort of trading rep. He doesn't have tf2outpost, tf2tp or any other trade site or trade forum account. He doesn't have anything. On top of these his Steam account is private. When I asked him to explain why his Steam profile is private he answered with the normal methods with which scammers normally tries to escape from the situation "i speak english bad" and by playing the "I don't know/I'm young/I'm stupid" card. Should be marked before he succeeds scamming a less experienced or a less cautious trader.
I see that valve already beat SR to it - "Trade Ban Status: Banned" But this is also a clear case so one more mark wont hurt his reputation (even tho I'm 99% certain that that's just a "burner" account).
Yes and this isn't the first time. Also another user who I reported twice http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/76561198052948867-4dr-9neko.12403/ got trade banned before his case was even reviewed, and neither of these cases are yet to be reviewed. Thing is that they weren't trade banned at the time I reported them here, and even month later they weren't trade banned. Now however they are, most likely from scamming multiple persons... As I suspected... Faster reviewing would be nice especially, as seen, as I report only under heavy proof.
Unfortunately, the screenshots are not loading for me. We'll need to see some screenshots (attach them here) prior to being able to take action. Agreed. Believe me, I we are trying to catch up with the back log. We are aware this is taking quite some time, which is why we have reached out to affiliate communities for assistance with the reports, and suggested posting reports there for faster handling times until we can get caught up. Keep in mind, this is a voluntary organization. You reporting only under heavy proof has nothing to do with it. Thanks for the report, though.
I wouldn't like to complain but due to the slow review the screenshots which I took with gyazo seems to have already disappeared so the evidence has also partly disappeared :/
Don't you have the originals left? D: You could do as I do, if you don't want to store it on your computer then upload it to skydrive, online storage "provided by" hotmail
Unfortunately the original pictures are those very same gyazo links which doesn't seem to work anymore. Seems that the pictures taken with gyazo disappears in ~ 2 months from their browser. So that this could be avoided in the future I suggest you add a note about this problem of gyazo (which is after all pretty common way to take screen shots) in the "how to make a report" thread.
A sufficient amount of time was given, but the requested evidence or information was not provided. Feel free to file a new report if you do have the requested information.
