Description:

This guy offered a level 100 bird man of Aberdeen craft #8545 on backpack.tf classifieds. When it came to the trade he actually gave me a different bird without me realising, so basically the old bait and switch.

Stupid of me to fall for it. I didn't even realise the scam until he left my friend list a second time and wouldn't re add me, even after a request on his steam comments to give my metal back in return for the bird if he wouldn't swap the birds accordingly, which he has since deleted.

Further proof that he knew full well the level of the item he offered, heres the outpost trade he advertised 5 hours before our 'incident':

Apologies for repeated posts (cant edit the previous ones) but forgot to mention that the reason I did not realise the bird was not level 100 or the craft number it is, is because you cannot see either of these details in the steam trade window. Not sure if this is relevant or not.

Could you please provide pictures showing the details of the item you received?

If you need any other pictures then I am more than willing to oblige, I'm not sure where else to look for details.

Do I need to keep the bird btw or is it okay if I sell it? will it affect the process if I do?
