Hello Steamrep staff. My name is Nicolas and I´m here because I was trying to become a TF2 trader, and I was going to trade on TF2WH when suddenly I got my account suspended. I was going to make a ban appeal, but a friend told me that first I had to make one here. I didn´t even know I was with a scammer reputation in this forum. I know what probably happened, this account used to be from a friend called Santiah, (that is the reason of the id), and one day we just "traded" our accounts, so at the moment he´s with my account and I´m with this one, which seems to have this bad reputation. I have never scammed someone, actually, I wouldn´t know how to, I don´t really know the values of TF2 stuff, I think I could be easily scammed... This is my truth, for his fault I can´t trade now because people think I´m a scammer, but you can see my profile, I´ve traded some games during sales without problems. Please, just give me an opportunity and you will see I´m an innocent man, if you want I can give you some old info of my old account. Please, just add me on steam and we can talk on chat, I will not dissapoint you, I´m a good man. Best regards.

So let me get this straight you traded your steam account with a friend of your. If thats the case then both of you should be steam banned trading accounts violates Steams terms of service.

It wasn´t a trade at all, we were friends and he gifted me his account, so I gave him mine

Trading/Selling/Gifting or whatever with accounts does not vacate a scam tag, otherwise all scammers would or at least claim in hopes to be unmarked. Saying that, the account will not be unmarked since the other user is a verified scammer.

1. we have no way to tell who is in control of the account
2. even if you are a different person and your story is legit (unlikely but still) the original owner can always "reclaim" the account form valve.
