Description: He added me as a friend with the "intent" to buy 9 keys from me, i told him about my lack of rep and offered to use a middle man- he declined and asked for my paypal information, i gave it to him and waited for payment - which never arrived. After ~10 mins of "have you recieved the cash yet?" and me replying "no" he eventually went offline. - I guess not an actual scammer more of a potential which is why I'm putting this here, obviously i didn't fall for it but

I hope i've provided enough information to go off here, like i mentioned already, there was no actual scam here, only the intent to rip me of... but i fear he will attempt this again hence my report

While there's not enough evidence here to mark him as a scammer, this is definitely suspicious enough to mark him with a caution. Thanks for the report!
