Luckily I had a screenshot of part of the problem, was unable to take more as this was a couple days ago and honestly was expecting this process to be a tad bit lighter on evidence. If someone can explain how to get chat logs I would gladly post some.


Description: Met him about 6 months ago playing Dota 2, seemed like a nice guy and would often play games with me and talk about rocksmith, help sometimes. Recently me messaged me and asked if I wanted a game key and told me it wasn't used when asked, he asked for a giftable copy of CS GO and at the time I wasn't really interested the only reason I did it was to help him out as a friend as I didn't really wanna spend money on another game and thought he might want an extra copy for a family member, talked to me that day like it was no other, came off as a friend and seemed legit. Then during the trade and after he came off a bit flakey only to block me from his friendslist and give me an already used game key. Acted like a total profile degenerate afterwords ignoring anything from me and blocking me or any of my friends attempts to have a civil conversation with me. However steam support has acknowledged that he did scam me, of course I'm sure you know though, they fail to take any action.

If I can find the chat logs I'd be obliged to.
