All I have is me trying to get him to say he scammed me after: http://i.imgur.com/WiANFvr.png Links he sent me as "proof" that he hadn't redeemed my games and that they didn't work: http://i.imgur.com/5xPHjPS.png http://i.imgur.com/ysEZdyc.png http://i.imgur.com/9Zxim3L.png Description: He added me on steam, saying he'd like to trade with me for my copy of Alan Wake Franchise. I said sure, that sounds good, what do you have? He offered me a Payday 2 cce key. I obviously obliged. There was a long argument about me wasting my time while I was trying to find a middleman, just in case. I couldn't find one, and said to wait until I could get a middleman. He was impatient, and I couldn't find a middleman, so I decided to just trade. He was very convincing. I told him to go first, and he wouldn't (obviously). So I sent Him my game, and he told me it wasn't what he wanted, and that it had already went into his library. He said he wanted Alan Wake 2, and that i'd have to give him more games to make up for it if I wanted Payday 2. I didn't agree, and I told him to send me the game back, and we wouldn't trade. He disagreed, and said it was already in his library. We argued for a long time, and eventually he'd managed to convince me to send him another smaller game to even it out. So I sent him the key, and he said it was a duplicate, Which it obviously wasn't, because i'd just clicked the button on humble bundle to show me the key. This is when I knew. told him to send me a screenshot of the notification saying it was a duplicate, which he did. I then asked for a screenshot of his library, and he sent me a cropped screenshot of his library. I told him to send me an uncropped version, which he did. I knew he was lying now, because earlier he said Alan Wake went straight to his library, and the game was not there. I called him out on this, and he sent me a link to a youtube video called "You've been scammed", sent me a key to a useless indie game on steam, and said "My steam is closing. Oh no." I'd like if this guy wasn't able to fool anyone else. Thank you
Hello there! Thanks for submitting this report. Can you please upload your screenshots directly to SteamRep via Upload a File button? Thanks!
Unfortunately without a screenshot of the original agreement there is not enough evidence to warrant a ban, so I am archiving this thread.
