i was apparently tagged for scamming an unusual (accepting trade but not sending paypal payment)

    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561198025089694-gorlab.1165/

    is the report.

I'm pretty sure the person who reported me was scammed by an impersonator, as my steam password has not been changed, and all of my unusuals are still in my backpack (but the scammed unusuals are not).

I can provide screenshots of my item history, or any other information that's needed. I'm currently at work, and do not have access to the steam app, but I will be ready to provide any and all information needed later on tonight (in approx. 4 hours from this post.)

my SOP rep thread, where the victim has also posted:
    http://sourceop.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=86687

Again, I'm pretty positive this person was scammed by an impersonator, as my account has not been compromised, and the existing unusuals in my backpack are untouched. I would assume if someone got unauthorized access to my account, they would've taken my unusual collection.

Here is the victim's (flygel) unusual western wear that was scammed:

backpack history shows it was traded to this guy:

    steamID: (cYs) Del Piero
    steamID32: STEAM_0:1:15965767

    steamrepURL: http://steamrep.com/index.php?id=76561197992197263

Checked his steam profile alias history:

Clearly a successful impersonation scam, he's already marked as a scammer on steamrep. Unfortunatly, flygel (the person who reported me as scammer) wasn't thorough enough, and got tricked by an impersonator.

I can also submit screenshots of my item history, but I think the above is more than enough proof to show I was impersonated by a scammer.

Appeal granted-- this tag shouldn't have been placed in the first place.

For sanity sake, I have to confirm 100% with the reporter that his inventory history matches yours, but everything I see points to you being impersonated cleverly.

On behalf of SteamRep, our sincerest apologies for the confusion. When a senior trader/moderator goes "rogue", the team has to act fast to prevent additional scams. In this case an SR admin jumped the gun and you have our apologies.
