Pretty much, to be as brief as possible, I think it was around the month of November 2011 - I scammed a player for their bills using a fake middle man. I've gotten back into TF2 trading because of my mates wanting me to play that Mann Versus Machine stuff with them. However I noticed, in some servers, there were big bold letters next to my name after I connected 'ABSO SCAMMER'. (I was joining Trade servers to get tickets) So I asked what it was, a man replied with all of the information that I needed to appeal the request. I'm currently trying to re-add the player that I have scammed to give an item of equal value back to them but they are not responding to my requests.

Update: I'm trying to appeal my scammer tag on Reddit but it says I already have an appeal out.

And I found out that the victim of my scam will be back in around 2 more days.

Update: Talked with him and he has forgiven me for my actions
