I have a trade on outpost ( http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/3578641 ) saying I'm buying CRAFTABLE hats for 1.22 refined each. Then this guy adds me, and says he has 9 craft hats for sale. So we trade and such, I give him metal and so on. Then I notice that one hat, the Dealer's Visor, can't be used in crafting. I wasn't aware of this. I tell him about it, expecting a refund. But no, he just deleted me from his friends list.

Not a scam attempt. The responsibility falls on the buyer to check if the hats were craftable. In this case, I don't see a clear misrepresentation of the hat being sold.
