It's reasonably clear from the chat. He wanted me to give him an unusual without getting anything in return right away, and promised to get his friend to give me 3-6 unusuals in return.

Note that he made his profile private after his last response and didnt say anything anymore.

You can judge what you wanna do with this, just putting it out there.
Logically I didn't trust him on this.

Something I forgot to mention, he appeared to add me at random, as I never anywhere indicated I had an unusual for sale or whatever, though my backpack isn't hidden.
