I received a gift card from a friend which only had $25 in it. I had no use for it so I set it aside for a later date. Then I got into TF2 trading fairly recently after I got the gift card. All I ever did was play on a server, never thought of trading, so l was sorta new to all this. I wanted to get the item "Earbuds" so I can gain another item that I really wanted at the time. I got my first Earbuds from a friend that helped me get that item. The second, I wanted to pay for with my gift card. So I went on TF2OP, which was new to me as well,and started a post. I was selling a few DOTA invites and my gift card. Pwn adds me and we discuss how all of this goes. We did the trade, he confirmed the money, and let me have the item though the middle man. Shortly after, he claims the money was missing, and that he wanted a different card that worked with Paypal. Since I only had that gift card I didn't know what to really do. Since I got my item i promised myself I was done trading since that was all I needed at the time. But within 2-3 days I was marked as a scammer. I did not intend to scam, or do anything bad to anyone. I tried my best to give him back the money that was lost, but the time window was too short and I never had much time in those days to get another gift card that worked with Paypal. So I traded away until I can get back the Earbuds that I took from him, and repay him since I have already sold the Earbuds for the item I have really wanted. I am sorry I acted shady, as I didn't know setting your profile to private was a bad thing. I am sorry I was distant with the trader because I was selfish and already had my item. I am sorry the money promised went missing because my sister had used it without my permission. I will never do anything like this again, and I wish to trade safely from now on. I have payed my debt to him in keys, I hope my tag will be removed and we can be friends.

Without getting muddy with the details, I am the user who submitted the original report. DarkTerror recently contacted me through a friend to apologize and make amends. The balance has been completely paid.
