Invalid 76561198028685857 SR Scammer

A few months ago, I was getting a bit desperate in my trades, as I was realizing I was trading down and not up, I was mostly trading items for other items and not exactly for metal or keys, and my backpack was losing value fast. In a pathetic and desperate attempt to make some money, I had scammed another player for a dirty Kringle Collection (He paid for a clean one, got a dirty one through means of quickswitching.) I had made maybe an extra key out of the deal, and he promptly reported my stupid self to SteamRep, and got be marked as a scammer, and thus, banned from a lot of trading websites, including the /r/tf2trade subreddit. At the time, I figured I was on the way out of TF2 trading and gloated like a little idiot across the forums.

I like to think i've matured since then, and so I tracked the player down and refunded him the difference, after months of being banned, because I have recently gotten back into trading and would like to clean my slate. I apologized to him and we talked for a bit, he seemed genuinely satisfied with the way things turned out, even though he said he doesn't trade in TF2 anymore.

I'm requesting this ban get lifted so I can resume trading in TF2 as a fair and honest trader, and not the low-life I was.

I have also appealed my reddit ban already, at http://bans.tf2trade.com/index.php?p=protest, the ban is expired but my reddit tag still remains on my profile.

He says he matured since then but just 1 day before this "I changed" post he posted an appeal blaming the VICTIM. And playing down his scam. Now he has changed in 24 hours after that post?

You say in this post that you would have offered him a refund shortly after you switched the kringle, that he insulted you, and that you weren't trying to speed up the trade... all these things are contradicted by the evidence in the picture originally posted in the scam report. You taunted him after scamming him and then you promptly blocked and deleted him. You aren't sorry for scamming him, you're sorry because you got caught and now you're marked. You don't deserve a repeal because you're blatantly lying about the events that unfolded and I'm absolutely 100% sure that you would not have repayed him if he didn't get you reported and marked.
