Right... Guess I got some explaining to do.

I had no intention of doing this, as I'll explain here.

This morning, Was browsing on TF2TP and TF2outpost, trying to sell my unusual for a Heavy hat.
Someone called Mittens comes up and adds me out of nowhere, saying "do you take money? I'll offer 360$ for that unusual."

I just stared at the offer. $360? I knew he was either a scammer, or he didn't know the value of my hat. So I said I don't think my hat is worth that much. Then he rambles on about 'My buyer offers more' and I looked at that, having NO idea what that ment. I asked if he had anything else to offer and he said he has a Ghosts Tosslecap, I checked his backpack, he had one. Level 13, Painted black incase anyone's interested. I said I'll take that instead, I'll throw in some sweets for it, then he says 'brb'. He went offline.

2 hours later, I was on Pink taco's unusual trading server, he came online again. After some greetings, I asked him about the tossle offer. He said he sold the tossle for 290$ (Can't believe that... ) And that his only offer now is money.

Stupidly, i thought he was really serious about the offer, cause I clicked on his profile, and it has people going 'Good trader' and etc. So, I believed him. He then started to urge me to make a Paypal account or give him my email, I refused both of those and asked if I could find someone to do the cash offer with him. He EVENTUALLY agree'd, though he kept saying he had a friend who wanted my unusual (Hearts Texas Ten gallon). He kept pushing me for time, and he said I could look for an unusual around the $200 - $300 price range. I searched for a Toque first, though never seen a toque going over 200, I went to look at the Tosslecaps, and this brings me to Koblizek. I told Mittens to add him, he said he did (but I doubt it) and he kept on pushing me for time cause I said for him to wait. Eventually, he started to get mad, saying I needed to give him my email so he can give me money for paypal. (I questioned his logic, as I couldn't make an account.) So, I added Koblizek myself. And as you can see from the chat, well.. yeah. I'll admit I was nervous when chatting with him.

Mittens had linked me to a steam rep profile of a middleman, turns out to Koblizek, the website was fake. The person he linked me to, I can't remember his full name, I just remember this. (GTFO_avenger)

And, well, I'll admit I was a bit greedy, but I had no idea he had the intention on scamming someone, in this case, Koblizek. I had not made contact with Mittens anytime before this incident, nor had the intention of scamming with him.

Hope this pleads my case.

(I had evidence of the chat, they both left as soon as Koblizek had told me they were scammers, and Mittens had removed me from his friends list. But stupidly, like me, I accidently closed the group chat.)

s✿✿✿, I don't know if it's the same imposter Mittens that got me marked as a scammer for joining his fake UTC Admin group, I don't know what happened to his steam profile as it could be deleted or he switched accounts as seen on my post. Anyways, sorry to hear you got marked, this (or these) Mittens have to be stopped from getting traders marked as scammers.

Hmm, I will admit, It is my fault I didn't notice the steam website was fake, but how could I tell? I had never been to steamrep.com before, so I wouldn't of known it was fake.

My fault for being greedy I guess, but I did think it was a serious offer from the fake steam rep comments and the fake replica of the website. Silly me.

(Oh, and as an edit, someone called 'roland' added me and offered me $480 for my unusual. Not sure if it's the same guy.. But he acted the same as mittens. I removed him straight away and didn't get his steam ID... Silly me again for being hasty.)

After very careful review of your case, there is no evidence to suggest that you were involved with a scam in this situation, and there are no links with either the Scammer fake Mittens and the fake Middleman GTFO Avenger.
