Description:
I had a spare Hitman - Sniper Challange key which I wanted to trade for DOTA2. He offered me three copies, lowered then after we were both okay with that to two, which should have warned me to close the chat already but I was okay with that as well. I asked him to show me his DOTA2 copies in the trade window before he gets the key, which he did. I posted him the key in the trade window which he closed afterwards. I posted him the key again in the chat so he can´t say he didn´t see it, while he was posting that I shouldn´t give him the key (which I already did in the trade window). He didn´t reacted for a while to come back a few minutes later to tell me he won´t do the trade and that´s what he did. He got the key he asked for and didn´t delivered his end of the deal.

I´ve had someone else test the key and it still worked, so maybe that guy was just dumb and no full potential dochebag scammer. So feel free to close this please.

Well he still "didn't deliver his end of the deal" so why close it? -he made you waste a perfectly good key. I think that he thought that he would also get the "base game" with that key...

I agree with this.
There isn't a clear sign that he intended to scam. He also claims that he never saw the key in the trade window, and that he asked that you don't post it beforehand. Since screenshots were not taken of the trade window, this can't be proven/disproven.

And because your friend tested the key and it worked, the accused scammer obviously didn't use it.

I definitely think this guy is suspicious, but I can't say he's a scammer.
