I dunno how he got into my friends list and he messaged me out of nowhere and provided a very suspicious link (screenshot below), encouraging me to click it. I didn't click on the link and replied to him as precaution, but by the looks of it, he's attempting to hijack accounts. I checked his steamrep profile and discovered he has nine (9) scammer friends. With that many scammer friends, I am led to believe he may be a part of an account phishing circle.

While this may be suspicious and we greatly appreciate your report, what he linked you is a referral site. If he gets X amount of people to click it, then he gets a prize and prizes increase the more people click. Basically, he just wants free items but not in the hijacking way.
