I really have no idea of what happened, all the rep I have on Outpost is from people I have trade with, and were happy with me, and everytime I have +rep someone is for the same reason, I don't do huge epic trades like unusuals or keys for money, I started a month ago or so, and I do mostly scrapbanking and wep per scrap trades, so either you are not allowed to rep people for small trades, and I didn't knew, or I have no idea what happened, can I at least know who mark me as scammer? the only person from my +rep that I didnt trade with is 1 guy that said I was rude, but I didnt even trade with him and report his rep, still no admin remove it, I don't think that's way I was marked, so I'm clueless now

I don't know how this goes neither do I know how can I prove to you that I did earned my rep, so please tell me which proof I can provide, looking forward to "hear" from you guys.

PS: I might make huge writting mistakes but I'm not native english speaker so please forgive me for them.

I've been trying to find a "fake rep" report about me here on steamrep to see who did this and why, but I didn't find anything, also I didn't get any Warning or a Caution tag as the FAQ says I should have, I went to sleep yesterday and everything was ok and this morning notice the "Scammer" tag while looking at backpack.tf I have never scammed anyone and haven't fake my reputation in any way, I just hope you can tell me how to prove this to you, but by the look of others people appeals this will take a month or 2 *sigh*

Also I open the thread here because is where the guideline told me to, but I think maybe I should have open it on processing appeals, I don't know, I hope you can move it if I did it wrong.

one little update, I've been reading what constitutes a SR offense and I've seen that trading with tag scammers is one of them, so I've closed all my open trades on outpost so I don't get anyone into troble for trading with me, but even if the whole appeal procces takes a month or two I hope you can answer this question asap (I understand is weekend, so maybe you will be able to answer me on monday or tuesday,...) Would I get my friends and my brother into trouble for trading with them, even if it's outside trading pages or servers? (even if I have never scammed anyone)

I mostly trade on Outpost, logged into Warehouse, but didnt finally trade anything there, and even if I sometimes go into trade serves is more for a kinda deathmatch style thingy, so outpost is the only place I have got rep from because is the only one I really use (aside from trading with my friends)

at least now I know why this happen, I was doing scrapbanking that day, and this guy added me out of the blue and told me he wanted to gift me a dirty huntsman, he didnt say anything else, so I said well thanks then, later he told me If I could leave a comment on his profile, I thought the whole thing was a little wierd, but I haven't been trading for that long so I thought he might be doing a giftaway or something, anyhow I didnt want to mislead people into thinking I made an important trade like keys, bills, money or unusuals so since he ask for a comment I leave this on his outpost profile:

Just in case he wanted to use that rep to make people think he was a trustable user for money or bigger trades, I made clear that it was just for a huntsman, he was a little pissed that I didnt only said +rep in both cases cause he didnt want me to "talk" about why I gave him the rep (aka the dirty gifted huntsman) and tell me to delete it and say +rep only, and I said no, he delete me from friends and leave, I then think he might be onto something so I check his steamrep and saw it was clean, I later told what happened to a friend who has been trading for way longer than me and he said that there are wierd traders everywhere so I keep onto my bussiness and didnt gave it more thought, I still have that dirty huntsman in my inventory so you see that he did trade it to me.

Anyway I've always thought that the steam profiles rep isnt real rep just comments, so I usually care more about outpost rep for instance, I've even delete some +rep comments from my profile because I didnt like that users avatars showing there (until this momment I never thought that counted as real reputation)

anyhow I guess everyone comes here claiming being inocent, and as cliche as it is I didn't even knew Fake reputation was a thing, I thought people only +rep people thay have trade with and were thankful of how nice, fast and helpful they were, I think I should have get a warning or a caution so I knew what happened and in the future if this happen again to me I will see something fishy right away with the trader, Did I find this user actions odd?, yeah, Did I knew he was a scammer? no, but I did want to make clear he gave me a hunstman and that was why I was thankful, so I write it on both comments.

I understand all you have a ton of work taking care of all traders and I'm thankful for that, I also hope you give me a second chance because it was never my itention to mislead other users and obviously if someones do this to me again I won't accept the trade, in case he is onto something, I think this is the kind of thing you learn along the way.
