I was playing CS:GO with a friend of mine and a player sent me a trade request without adding me. He wanted to trade his AWP boom for my dragon claw hook for Dota.

I don't understand how this is a scam, can you elaborate?

I think you meant that it was a shark attempt (I know that the AWP Boom sells for a lot), if that is the case: File a shark report at Mann Co Trading
