I refused. Now today he come with a strange offer, offering me Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 for The Showdown Effect. Which is 3/1 of the price of Showdown effect. Already weird. So i offer him to trade as i’m interested into, even an absurd price, i was assuming doing it within Steam trade would be completly safe. So then, i just notice he CAN’T trade as he haven’t activated Steamguard for at least 15 days. So he ask to do a « gifting trade » , i usually never trust this but his account was looking clean and old enough, i might wanted to do, but as usual i never trust people so i never go first. So i asked if he could go first, and he said he don’t trust me, so i said why should i trust him if he cannot trust me? Specially if i have 1800 games when he have 50 games. I know this isn’t a valid point to determine if someone is trustable but you get the point. Then he claim having tried it this very exact game and he don’t like it on PC. ATM of the report, the game haven’t been released or leaked. So then i ask him to unhide his inventory, he said he don’t have the option to unhide the inventory, despite giving him the link to his profile privacy settings. As soon as i started talking to him about the game not beeing released, he stopped responding then he blocked me. I’m getting in touch with VALVe also concerning this.
