Hello, i am appealing against my Steamrep Scammer tag which i received for brokering an unusual trade for a scammer. I would like to have it removed or changed to a caution (whichever one is applicable).

I believe this tag is a little bit of an over exaggeration, along with the fact the user in question was not marked for a rather long time after i met him and that in the past he had never hinted at any shady trading practices. Sure his profile was private, but that setting isn't integrated into steam for use only by scammers, its there for privacy and having know him for a while i respected that. Also I receiving no type of warning for the tag, as it says I should get in the SR FAQ

The trade in question was purchasing a secret moon TC on behalf of a friend, the friend turned out to be a scammer alt, which i only found out when i was approached by Mattie after making the trade.

Im not sure if any more information is needed, if it is please ask and ill add it as soon as possible.

Just an update on my trade ban, after much deliberation, I have gotten my trade ban lowered from permanent to timed. This is mainly due to the fact the reasoning i was given by support staff was pathetic and held little to no solid backing.
