My name is ThatIrishSOB and I was marked as an SR scammer due to the fact that I stole an unusual from one of my friends. I am not attempting to deny that I commited this crime, but rather I would like to try and convey that I have served my time. 3 years with an SR tag is pretty hefty, and the person I stole from, AlmightyNoob, has accepted my apology and we have become friends again.

I've submitted an appeal previously, about 2 years ago, and it was denied. I've tried over and over to contact a SteamRep admin about re-evaluating the case, but every attempt is in vain. At the very least, I would like to have my tag reduced to a caution.

I hope you understand that since this scam I've remained a clean trader. My steam probation expired quite a long time ago and I would implore you to try and find one instance of me being a dishonorable trader since my SR tag was placed. Even on alternate accounts that I made, I traded cleanly and without any scamming.

I guess what I'm asking for in this appeal is a second chance. If SteamRep is meant to be the trading adjudicator that it has become, then shouldn't it follow the model of the current "sentences" that are in place in our modern court? I feel as if I've served my time. 3 years with a tag and no possible chance of removing it or even reducing it to a caution. I've had friends look down upon me for it, and I suppose with good reason. I'd simply like a chance to become "clean." If you examine my behavior since the tag was put in place, you can see that I've changed into a different kind of person.

I would even be willing to follow some sort of SteamRep "probation." Reduce my tag to a caution, examine my trading history, and if I remain clean for X amount of time, it could be removed entirely. This is of course just an idea, but I would like some sort of way for my tag to be reduced or removed.

All I'm asking for is a second chance, thanks.

We have strict policies when it comes to reappeals, you cannot just make a new appeal after being denied already, please see the FAQ.
