so the person in question randomly added me to ask if i were a steam moderator,
i obviously stating no, and i asked why, he showed me a link of Steamrep to my Moderator Application i placed. so i said to him that Steam is not affiliated with Steamrep, and then he said he was scammed by a scammer, but as i checked his backpack&profile i found that his account is not that old, he has almost all of his items(that would be normal to have) and some other items.

then he showed me a Copied(text form) trade and i wouldnt believe that, he also asked me where to report someone, but how could he find my app without seeing the big REPORT A SCAM section.

i closed the chat forgetting that i should make a transcript so i am asking if a Moderator& an admin who can speak dutch can handle this report(as Victim&Scammer are both dutch and a part of the chat is dutch)

Well, we would never, ever try to get into your account anyway. It looks to me more that he was confused as he pointed out to you the issue with the link he clicked. If he doesn't speak English well, he may not be able to understand the Report a Scam section as I don't believe we have the forums localized in Dutch (though SR itself is, I believe). I don't really see any malicious intent here but I will have another admin take a look. Regardless we will definitely keep an eye on this fellow- either to help him if his account was compromised or if he tries this with any moderators. Thank you for the report!
