Scammed a unusual heavy hat (color effect green) actting as a middleman from this site for a user with the name embrus . this happened on 8/19/12. embrus asked me me for the hat offered cash suggested this site for a middleman and after i traded to your middleman they both logged off

I just made an account here just to report this ass. Same guy as above... the only reason I didnt trade him is because I found this guy's post when I googled his name. He was suspicious to me because he wouldnt agree to send me money before trade. Tried to scam me of $90 for international courier. Definitely a FRAUD!!! If you are stupid enough to click the links to steamrep on people's profiles without actually confirming that the accounts match, then nothing can really help prevent you from getting scammed. Furthermore then linking the steamrep of the legitimate person (who is being impersonated) instead of the actual scammer is gonna cause more confusion than assistance. If you check the friends of the Embrus guy, you will see someone named LaZy [Soul Ring] (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198021809974), but I can't tell if this is the guy who scammed you.

If you click the link to the profile of the person you traded with in your inventory history, and then link their steam profile id, you can check who it actually was.

To the other guy (TheTruthful), I don't know what fake rep you are talking about on the profile you linked (unless you can read Korean), however the imposter I have reported (http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/76561198069959960-mr-reckless.10295) has plenty of fake rep on his profile

You need to provide screenshots of the transaction or chatlogs. You need to prove it was the listed users that you did the trade with. There's not enough information here.
