Description:
The scammer had been a friend I met a few months ago. The deal was I had sold alll of my strange festives for a ten gallon with orbiting fire she offered to help me trade up and after awhile it got up to a blizzard grimm. Being the nice person I am I offered to let her borrow it for her time put into it. The scam happened when she asked to sell the hat for a planets anger and promised she would pay me the full amount for the hat back. After a few months I still had no payment and after asking only 3 times she basically hinted and then outright told me I wasn't getting it back.

"after a few months..." < really? could i borrow your botkiller weapon? only for 6months i give it back to you, deal?

I'm unamused.
Ok so "a few months" is a bit broad it was more like at the end of july. and I had known her since october of last year.

The chatlog states that you both own the hat? You state that she helped you trade up for it. I'm not sure what the agreement was between you two about this hat but you need to provide more information on it so we can clear this up..

A few months ago, Captain Fluffball of Fuzzyshire aquired a gifted Texas Ten Gallon with Orbiting Fire (for his strange Festive set before their prices went up to what they are now) which he traded to me and with his knowledge I added my own items of multiple keys and buds over several different trades until I had aquired a Blizzard Grimm.

In April, With his insistance that I take it, he bought me a Planets Prancer's Pride for 18 keys as an Easter gift (which he himself stated was a gift in his screenshot "evidence2"). I later sold the prancer for a G. Fetti Pyromancer and strange Grenade Launcher, which I again sold to put towards the Grimm, even though he had said it wasn't necessary and had been a gift. As we had a mutual friendship, we traded the hat back and forth occassionally, and while I had it in my possesion for months without him ever asking for it, I grew tired of it and asked him if he would mind I trade it for something I actually wanted. He agreed to this and I offered to find him another Grimm in the future, after I completed my collection of Prancers, which was more than a fair offer as he had only contributed the gifted Ten Gallon and the Prancer which he had insisted I take as a gift. No specific timeframe or urgency was put on his part and it appeared as if he cared very little about having anything in return.

Several more months passed where we basically lost touch until he began messaging me asking to have the hat back, which obviously wasn't possible as he was very aware and began to harrass me and even had his girlfriend messaging me inquiring when I would have his hat. The breakdown of this situation is he gave me an unusual to trade FOR him and out of my own pocket, I added to it to trade up for an unusual that we both liked and we both shared. I bought the majority of said Grimm, being about 30+ keys from my own trading experience and a buds I had also bought.

As stated above, there was no set timeframe in which I could give him for repayment. I still have seven more effects to gain for my Prancer collection. The reason he started harassing me all at once is beyond me.

A basic breakdown is:
He sold his strange festives for a gifted Orbiting Fire Texas Ten Gallon
He gave it to me to sell, stating he wanted a better unusual and to share it with me
I traded the Ten Gallon for a Smoking Hotrod 1:1
He gave me 18 keys as an Easter gift. (which I used immediately to buy an Orbiting Planets Prancer's Pride)
Having the Prancer a while, someone offered me a Green Confetti Pyromancer's Mask and a Strange Grenade for it, which I took
Factoring in that I am also buying keys myself, having worked up to a Purple Confetti Bonk Helmet

(So what I have right now is this Hotrod, Pyromancer, Bonk Helm, about 12 keys and a few other little hats/miscs)

I sold the Bonk Helm for 26 keys and then the Pyromancer for a bud and maybe three keys (cannot remember exactly)
I then sold the Hotrod + 21 keys + a few little hats/miscs worth over a key each for the Blizzardy Storm Grimm Hatte
The Grimm was shared between us for a good few months, finally I ended up with it and he did not ask for it back for a good while
A friend of mine gave me a regular Tyrolean to use for my Medic and I liked it more than the Grimm, so it just sat in my backpack
I asked him if I could sell the Grimm, in hopes of an Unusual Anger
He resisted at first, attacking me and saying it was his hat too (when he hadn't asked for it back in at least two months)
I promised to pay him back for the initial Orbiting Fire Texas Ten Gallon OR a replacement Grimm Hatte when I finished collecting Prancer's Prides
He agreed, and I got my Anger
The harassment for repayment started a couple weeks back, both he and his girlfriend harassing me and inevitably "setting me up" for those screenshots
(knowing I have a short fuse and that I would blow up if the harassment kept on)
Finally, I blocked both of them, stating that he would not be recieving any repayment at all because he would not leave me alone.

I realize that that may have been out of line and I apologize for being hasty. But the fact of all this is: I bought the majority of the Grimm. He has no right to call me a scammer when I bought something FOR BOTH OF US fair and square.

I will agree that yes, you helped buy it however that doesn't change the fact that it was BOTH of ours and as I had told you before, the reason I didn't leave you alone was because I wanted a straight answer out of you which is something I did not get.
You also could have remined me about the whole "I'll pay you back after I'm done" thing people forget things and I am no expection to it and if you would have just remind me I wouldn't have "harassed" you. However you chose not to and instead kept giving me "I don't know" and yes I did agree to give you half ownership due to what you put into it but that doesn't change the fact that you refused to pay me back for my half. The harassment of which she speaks was me simply me asking her if she was going to pay me back. In late july Trixie wanted to cash out which she chose not to do. During the time when she did want to cash out I had asked if she still intended to pay me back. The answer I got and every answer there after was "I don't know." In total I asked her only 3 to 4 times and everytime I asked her she made it seem like I was asking everyday. Because she made a big deal out of me asking her and not giving me a straight answer naturally it made me suspicious. I then spoke my mind about the matter a day or two before we had our falling out to which she told me to "f✿✿✿ off" and proceeded to block me on steam.

We did. When the hat was first traded for I insisted on her having half ownership for her time and resources spent getting it which at the time I figured the items she put into the hat equaled up to about half. The hat had been with me for at least a month before she asked for it back and then about 2 days later told me she wanted out and wanted me to pay her back for her half of the hat. I agreed and told her it would be a little bit since money is tight. It was about a week after that when she asked if she could sell it for an unusual anger I resisted because I loved that blizzardy grimm but reluctantly I agreed as long as she would pay me back. She accpeted, though she never said anything about paying me back the orbiting fire ten gallon or when her collection was done, at least not to my memory. She did however, say that she would pay me back once her commissions and baby sitting pay came in and when I asked when that would be, she told me she didn't know. The agreement for this hat was that it was both of ours and that all we needed to do was ask the other when we wanted the hat. I have every right to call this woman a scammer. She may have been the one who got me the grimm fair and square but that doesn't change the fact that my strange festives went into this hat. Due to her refusal to pay me back she effectivly scammed me out of my half of the hat and kept the entire thing for herself.
