Description:
I posted on his outpost thread where he was offering to buy a headcase for $120 obo, I offered mine for 135 and we met at 130. After adding, we discussed a bit about who would go first and settled on me because of his superior profile rep. At this point I went on steamrep to check him, but the site didn't want to load for me. I was fairly reassured by his rep and by his polite, non-forceful way of discussing so I didn't make too much fuss about it (found out after he was marked on tf2t -_-). He actually managed to convince me to restart my computer as a way to avoid PayPal fees on my part, I forget how and it did what I think it was intended to do by eliminating my ability to get a chat cap afterward. He also managed to scam someone else in the same listing, but I got him banned from outpost already. Not sure what else I need, mainly interested in my chances of ever seeing that headcase again.

He was already marked, and the profile rep, lol, they buy those for a rec from ppl. Profile rep = worthless.

have patience and dont let ppl tell you fairy tales. Paypal really does not "know" if you reboot your computer, it either is arrived, or it isn't. The only thing that really helps is CTRL-F5 on the webpage you look at, which refreshes the page and will show if there was a change on a page.

I tried checking steamrep, but it was down during the trade. Wouldn't have done it if the info was available at the time. Sorry about being a noob, I wasn't as cautious as I usually am since I was still happy about the ghosts Mirror I essential got for free and just in a good mood in general. Not a good thing for me to be in when I'm not familiar with what I'm doing.
I've already seen my headcase and the other hat scammed in that trade, and I've alerted the current owner to the status of those hats.

This guy is tryied to scam me too. He was added me for trade (my holiday headcase for 150$). I want only webmoney, he said that he has it. After some talking, he (ofc) want me to go first and gived me link to the guy on tf2trader with same nickname as him. I said that didn't want to go first, because he has only 3 or 4 comments. Then he began to say that he must go and we must urgently make a deal. Besides, he did not even bother to check the exchange rates offered me 150 rubles ($ 5) instead of $ 150. Then I started to doubt, and said that I could wait until he returns. All this time he asked me to start trading (I had to give headcase first).

Posting to say that he's changed his profile name to Spraaaaty.

UPDATE: After trying in vain to find my headcase in my TF2items inventory (no timestamps shown had it ;_, I checked his steam profile again. He's now impersonator SourceOP Trusted Seller wildfire, even changing his customURL to wildsulos:
