Yesterday I was added by this user, and to the best of my knowledge at the time, he was simply looking for advice on unusual trading. He told me that he had a deal for a Terror-Watt Noble Amassment of Hats of Hats for his Disco Beat Down Metal Slug and had added me because he saw that I had made a suggestion for the Terror-Watt Noble Amassment of Hats on backpack.tf, but had closed it. I told him that the deal was fairly decent and that he should take it. The trade seemed to work out fine and he told me it was successful, so I thought nothing more of the encounter. Today he messages me a url for a fake steam community site that would have phished my information had I not been wise enough to read over the url for any errors. The first thing that tipped me off was the fact that he didn't specify what the friend was interested in and we hadn't discussed any of my unusuals since none of them are for sale.

On a side note, it appears that he had tried to scam at least two other people recently (which I was completely unaware of at the time) based on two other threads I located in the forums which were closed due to improper format: http://forums.steamrep.com/search/1749318/?q=76561198047648017&o=date

After having actually reviewed the results by searching his steam url in the Steamrep forums, I realized that there was only one thread that had been already opened against this user. The two results that showed came from the same thread. The thread did not actually involve any phishing or scamming, just some mere lowballing over a strange quick-fix. Please disregard my side note. I apologize for having not looked into the search results more clearly before making that statement.

I can also support this report. Today at about 1PM he also messaged me the same thing and I was nearly about to login on that website but realised it was a fake because something just wasn't right. The page seemed kind of legit but I spotted the mistake in the URL.
