Honestly, it REALLY does not help matters considering that this trade was carried out on my account while being used by someone who WASN'T me. Yes, this was done during an account hijack. Thankfully:

• The damage goes no further than this scam-trade (the guy didn't change my password or anything)
• My account is now secure once again, sans my 26 keys.

Unfortunately, now I'm down 26 keys, have a GIFTED Earbuds (NOT worth anywhere near 26 keys), and I'm mad. I'm thinking, given the relative severity of the attack (it COULD have been worse), that this was someone I know, but that's now why you're all here. You're here because some idiot was trying to scam people for 26 keys on GIFTED Earbuds, and my hijacked account waltzed on in and took em.

P.S.S. yes, I've reported this to Steam Support. I'm hoping they can fix this crap, cuz I can't. I'm not Valve.

One thing that i find weird is how were you able to make a screenshot of the chat when kappatalist supposedly wasnt you?

Could you go into detail on how you managed to get a screenshot of the chat?

Steam keeps chat logs of anyone you talk to now, and they transfer across devices. All I did was use my account's trade history to find the user who was traded with, went to his profile page, clicked "Send Message", and bam. It loaded the logs when the chat window came up.

NOTICE: I've contacted this user and explained my situation, and he has agreed to reverse the trade whenever he can get the keys back, which he has already traded with.

Consider this report back in full swing, Brotato (that's his NEW name) has blocked me on Steam and clearly has no intentions of undoing this trade.

Not enough evidence here. you're clearly lying. When steam shows you backlogged chat logs, they're in grey, not colour.

Feel free to submit this report again, but tell the truth next time.
