I was recently banned by Noobinnator for scamming a guy.

I lended account out to brother nd friend to use at time
I gave back the item i apparently scammed

VALVE's ToS states that you're prohibited to loan/share accounts with Anyone.

You are responsible for what happens to your account.

You've traded with a known scammer, which is not tolerated by SteamRep's FAQ.

also by saying "your friend" can prove that you weren't online on your account isn't really enough proof.

I'm not associated with SteamRep or anything alike, just throwing my thoughts at this.

Your account did a trade with a scammer, being the one who approached me - Nomad. He has been tagged as a scammer for a while and I have hard evidence of the trades you made with him. Again, you are responsible for your account, regardless whoever you give it out to or let use it. Sorry mate, but those are the rules as I told you.

so if you trade with a scammer marked by steam rep you get banned? only asking because I dont use or look at steam rep very often

You are first warned verbally if you were not aware they were tagged, or if you were aware they were tagged as in this case, then it warrants a Caution tag. Then next time, the offense dictates a scammer tag. The trading with scammer issue here is only residual - the big ticket item with Communist is his account did a scamming.
