Description:
Guy added me wanting free items. After I said no, he gave me a copy of Dota2 (which we all know is basically worthless) and then asked for my games which are actually worth something. He tried to pretend Dota was worth $30, but he wouldn't buy any copies off me for close to that.He pretended he was going to, but then closed the trade and went offline.

A few days later, he messages me asking about selling his '18-19 bud item' for a few of my items, including my unusual festive tree w/ steaming, worth ~2buds total. Turns out this item is a genuine companion cube pin (he wanted me to assume it was vintage or something), which is worth ~2ref. When I call him out on it, He says he had the price wrong and it was actually 4 buds (like the friends forever pin)... then he does another U-turn and says he didn't realize but it is actually just the 2 ref one.
He says he didn't know how much my hat was (this guy isn't exactly poor.. and how hard is it to check whether a steaming tree is worth $600??) and that's why he offered 19 buds on it. Started getting agitated when I say I'm reporting.

To top it off as the real decisive evidence, he links me an obvious scamming website (

Unfortunately I have no text log as the steam network went down shortly after this and in trying to fix it I somehow exited the chat window, but I'm sure the screenshots will be evidence enough.
