I was on a trade server and encountered a guy trying to buy dirty hats I had a Gentleman's Ushanka and a Texas Ten Gallon that were dirty and he tried to scam me out of them for a Strange homewrecker and force of nature. He said they were both a ref and I asked him where he was getting his prices and he quickly put in a dirty Villain's Veil painted color number 216-190-216 and claimed it was painted white and was clean. Realizing he was a scammer at this point I closed the trade a reported him to the server and he left immediately after.

Do you have any screenshots of the trade window and/or of any other chat relating to this trade?

Could you please provide a screenshot of the chat / tradewindow showing the scammer in question claiming it to be a different color?

We need this as solid evidence as we do not act on heresay.

I am sorry but as soon as he put the Veil up I bp'ed him and saw that he was lying about the paint I closed the trade window.

Unfortunately, without said evidence there isnt much we can do, i am very sorry.
