Said they'd sell 3 items on TF2O. Got to chat, they offered 6 items. You can see them agree to this trade twice in the screenshot:

In the trade, they only put up four and clicked Ready. I said some items were missing. This is the second time they acknowledged they were selling six items for the price.

I stated that they again left out the last item, and they immediately removed me from their list.

They didn't go back to the original sale on TF2O, offer just the sell the ones at the prices stated before they tried to add more, or answer the price per item either time I asked.

I think it's pretty obvious their intention was for me not to notice they left items out of the trade in an attempt to scam me out of a ref or two.

Hello, with you have provided there's not any clear sign of scamming attempt.

And also it's your own responsibility if the items agreeded are in the trade, unless they're a quickswitch.
