Hello people!

So this is a post to report a scammer (I bet you got it) who is called KSI Mashkode. I recently posted an offer on TF2 Outpost to sell my Founder's Edition of the Starforge game. I expected at least 25 keys as the price on the steam store is of 75 USD dollars.

So I get a friend request from Mashkode (he didn't even bother to post on outpost btw) and he says hello. Then he sends me a trade request and explains me he wants my Starforge for (careful, my sides went away when he told it to me) 4 magicka cards and TF2 items. These TF2 items being a strange flame-thrower and various weapons. Now I like to imagine I have a little knowledge about TF's values and thus I knew that this was extremly far from the 25 keys. But as he put his items in the trade box, I see a warning from steam that says our friend Mashkode is currently in a probation from steam trading. I already had a huge clue on him being a scammer with his oh so funny offer, but this confirmed it up for me.
Anyway I didn't even put starforge in the trade box and continued to chat through steam (which is shown above). He tells me that the day before he had a better offer, with games and all (not that this is a useful information, but eh, it's in the chat, so I have to describe). After that, I tell him his offer is ridiculous, and he replies "Have a good heart". Now I don't know about you, but for me, this is typical from a scammer. I, uh, lost my sides to this desperate beg as you can see up there. Then he talks to me about a runescape account. I don't think I need to describe anything about that XD

Well, that's it. In later chat with him that I didn't insert in this post, he told me he thougt that I was selling the regular edition of Starforge. But still, that's 19 USD dollars and what he was offering wasn't even worth 3 dollars. I wasn't scammed but I have already been scammed in the past and I know it's really not a pleasant feeling, this is why I am reporting this person. I am also counting on submitting a steam ticket but I'm not sure if I can, as I didn't actually get scammed.

Unfortunately this seems to be a shark report, Steamrep doesn't directly ban on these kind of reports but they're appreciated. However I'll have to archive your report due to this.
