Sorry about the delay in resubmitting this.

At the time this happened, I didn't take any chat screenshots but I do have the trade in inventory history and he also responded on TF2OP confirming what he did.

I was half asleep and he added me to trade 4 keys for 10 ref at the price of 2 keys for 5 ref and I put in 20 instead of 10 ref. I realised that a second later and asked him if he could give me my extra ref back. I was promptly deleted. I contacted him through tf2op but he said it was my mistake.

Without a screenshot of the original trade agreement, i.e. you explicitly spelling out the terms of the trade, there is nothing that can be done.
