On Feb 17, my friend, who had been friends with me for quite some time, told me about Diamond, he said he could upgrade any weapon with some sort of engine he had, so, me being the idiot I am fell for it. I handed him over 1 Max's Severed Head, 1 Earbuds and 5 variations of festive weapons, I also asked him in return if he could give me something of equal value but he didn't have anything so he gave me a Genuine Cross-Comm Express which I then raffled in my raffle club. Now i know my greed shouldn't have gotten the best of me but it did, if you could get my items back, that would be great but I really just want this guy banned. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

I changed my name to attempt to approach him again and tell him what's going on and how it can all be resolved if he just turned himself in and gave me my stuff back. They also have an invite only steam group http://steamcommunity.com/groups/CrimsonTraders .It's not a UGC so I wouldn't understand why it would be invite only unless they are trying to hide something

I had reported a steam ticket a while back so I have the link saved, unfortunately he changed his name so many times that Tom is no longer existant

There are 2 problems.
1.) We must be sure that the person in the chat is the same person you linked me.
2.) To convict the account that actually scammed you, we must either of proof of the scam or a proven link between the 2 accounts.

You screenshot the name history on one guy, but it doesn't match up with the other. It may have before, but that was not screenshotted.

I will do my best to cover this info and return to you some time within the next 72 hours or less

Sorry. I'm afraid there isn't enough proof here. I can't match the chat logs with the account that directed you to the scammer, and I can't pin anything on diamond.
