I was banned long ago, about 6 months ago actually. I have refused to appeal until now, because I had no evidence to convince anyone that I had changed or any rep anywhere to support my case. I had a crappy backpack and I was still new to trading so I thought that I could get away with scamming. So I tried. I failed very quickly and got banned as a result. But, in my defense I never did scam anyone. Never did I get away with anything and I only tried 3 times. I guess the system of banning you have going here is very tight and I commend all who work here to keep scammers at bay. Anyways, the only real evidence I have to support my case is small rep on my steam profile, a better backpack and much cleaner mindset. I know I will probably be banned regardless of my appeal, but I have been banned for 6 months now. I've had time to mature some and see the wrong of my way and regret it. I have no where to sell anything and even if I get unbanned here it will still take a long time for me to fix the errors of my ways. I am banned under one account of admitting to scamming. If you need to keep me banned because of lack of trust or just have banned me and want me to stay banned then that's fine. I eagerly await a response.

And in this thread http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/76561198056527833-vg-spoonman.7570/ you admit to scamming somebody. So you DID scam people, while those people may have not reported the scam it still occurred as you admitted. The reason steam rep is around is so that the community is aware of people like you scamming and such. Just because you "failed" at scamming, does not mean that you had the pure intent to do so, and you admitted to doing so.

I can see where you're coming from, I've never seen that first link with the paypal stuff, but the cold hard fact is I still have yet to scam anyone. I said "Sorry I was Scamming" as in I was trying to scam but never succeeded. The whole point of me making this thread is that I never successfully scammed anyone, I'm not trying to regain freedom by that fact alone but that's what I going off of. The reason I admitted to scamming was because I added a ton of people and put out a lot of outrageous offers for paypal so once I tried a few times and failed as you can see, I un-added everybody I had added before. There was just that one guy that hadn't added me before I un-added everybody so later on he did and I didn't want to just un-add him so I told what was going on. He of course reported me and here we are. I again restate that this was long ago when I didn't understand attempting to scam someone would have dire effects in the long run and this is what it's gotten me to. I once again await any reply from anyone, if you want to feel free to add as I will answer any and all questions.

The thing that is still the problem is you still WANTED to and TRIED to scam. What if the admins were to remove your tag and you just decided to try to scam people again? Then what would happen? Do you have any proof that you have "turned over a new leaf" persay? Besides the 14 comments on your profile, doesent seem to be much more than that. Also, considering you have bans on record means you did sucessfully scam somebody (if thats what the bans are for).

You do have a point in that I don't have any physical evidence to prove that I won't scam again. I still have no idea why I have a VAC ban on record because I remember any incident that would be worthy of a VAC ban or any notification as to when it happened. The only proof I can possibly provide is my much improved backpack as opposed to the time in which I scammed people. When I scammed people I had untradable achievement items and a huntsman. Now I have a somewhat respectable backpack that would be much better if I had the ability to post trades over the last 6 months. I could do a few paypal trades in which I of course go first and post pictures confirming that I am worthy of a tag removal.

You had multiple chances already, the time between your initial caution and full scam tag was a long time and I doubt you were oblivious to your caution tag. Why should anyone give you yet another go? At some point, It gets old, and around here, it gets old fast.

Also you did scam, Sept 15th you scammed a giftwrap off a poor user, check your inventory history to see.

You may or may not believe me, but I was completely unaware that steamrep existed until someone I was trading with pointed out that I was an SR Scammer. Again, at the time of my supposed scamming, I was relatively new to the trading scene, unaware of everything that it entailed. I do admit to the one scam I did pull off, completely not worth it, and that it was just greediness that got in the way, and as a result, I was banned from both Trading Post and Warehouse within the same week. Nowadays, I can't sell anything, anywhere, unless I want to go on some trading server or some low usage third party site that only a good 300 people use, and it's terrible. I know I brought this on myself. I know none of you admins will ever see it my way and give me a chance. That's another thing, I have had nowhere near any sort of multiple chances to clear my name. I had my one chance when my name was clear of anything, and unbeknownst of the consequences, I blew it, got banned, and nobody gave me any kind of charity. So if I COULD get an actual chance, I assure you I won't disapoint.
