Description: Went on a server and said "selling bill's". Slippers traded and said he would give me steam wallet money ($30.00) as soon as I traded him the Bill's hat for nothing. Said he had made a "system" so when I traded $30/00 would automatically be sent to me.

Even if he did or didn't exchange items with the user, the person can be marked for this, as its a blatant lie and attempt at a scam.

Yes I know that. There is a clear attempt at scamming here. Knowing if the victim was scammed/lost items in the transaction is a part of the marking process, ie: scam attempt vs successful scam. I was just asking for clarification because it is not clear in the explanation. Furthermore if items were exchanged, a screenshot of the trade history would be needed as evidence for the scam report.

No, I did not trade anything. I knew he was lying right away, the only reason I kept him going was to try and make him show me an alt account as "proof" of someone who he traded in the past, so I could report that as well. I should have made that more clear.
