Not sure if it was a scam attempt or not, but figure I'd make a report.

He most likely meant he had a CD-Key for the game.

He offered me his Black Ops 2 for my GTA CP. He didnt say its a code, but he didnt have it in inventory and we exchanged only few lines.
He has fake "he went second with a key" rep on his profile. Guy with few free games and 3-4 friends (including him) left it. I didnt go on second page of comments but im sure he had more fake rep.
Notice how he offers game code or GIFTABLE games. In both cases victim would have to go first.
