I am pretty new to TF2 and have been figuring out the trasing system. While I was on a server a player named {TAH} TheCloakedMan asked to buy my hat "The Anger" for $2. I asked him if I would need a PayPal account and he said no. I searched a price check for my hat and thought that this would be a good deal. I saw a little notification saying something along the lines of "$2 sent" so I placed my hat into the window and went on with the trade. I know this was extremely stupid - I done goofed. As expected, there was no money sent. On another note, I looked at this guy's profile and other people wrote him glowing praises. I decided to friend him and ask about it to see if he would give me back my hat. He accepted my friend request and asked me who I was. When explained to him the situation, he ignored me and eventually unfriended me. By the way my name is just "ha". I would like {TAH} TheCloakedMan to be known as a scammer. I am hoping he might respond to me tomorrow.

His original chats where he said "hey who are you" aren't shown - they disappeared probably because he unfriended me.

Please post an uncropped screenshot of your trade history as well as screenshots of the trade agreement of him saying he would pay you for the item ,and where exactly did you see this 2 dollar confirmation pop up?
