It looked fair, so I proceeded in the trade. I had not realised (my fault here) that he had put a CS:GO beta invite, I mistakenly accepted because of the gift's icon thinking it was the preorder. He deleted me immediately, and I didn't know until I opened my inventory. It was really my fault but I'd like him to receive a punishment, since he deliberately added the beta gift instead of the preorder; so he won't be able to scam future traders. Thanks
Note: Back from work, I realise CS:GO has released so I paid 5 Dota keys, or $12.50 worth, for a beta that lasted me less than 24 hr and couldn't even try.
Do you have any screenshots of the chat? Without that there isn't really any evidence that he mislead you into thinking that was the preorder rather than the beta.
Honestly, I wouldn't have known it was a beta either. From the screenshot, it appears to be a full copy of the game. As it is common practice for traders to delete the other person after a trade, as long as he didn't block you I wouldn't deem it as suspicious. If you can show evidence that shows he knowingly gave you a beta rather than the full game, I will be happy to reopen this report. As it stands, the evidence doesn't show that there was intention deception. However, thank you for the report and if you do receive further evidence showing his intent was to scam, I will reopen this report.
