Hello all! My name is Scallop, a new player to TF2. Recently I have began trading and built up a good stash of items but since I was new I was a target for scamming. When I was trading with Hooligan, his username is in the title, he tricked me and I gave him: The Rainblower, Frontier Justice, The Huntsman, Jarate, The Southern Hospitality, The Dalokohs Bar, The Bazaar Bargain,The Quick-Fix, The Short Circuit, The Market Gardener, The Liberty Launcher I gave him all that for a babyfaces blaster which he told me was one of the best weapons in the game. The Koala Compact, Strange Part: Revenge Kills for 5 Crowns and 4 refined metal for a strange shortstop I was told that I was scammed by some other players on the server and he left me with hardly anything please help
also I was given this by my friend Victim: |steamID: Scallop03 |steamID32: STEAM_0:1:55519453 |steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198071304635 |customURL: |steamrepURL: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198071304635 Scammer: |steamID: H00LIGAN^^ |steamID32: STEAM_0:1:50984104 |steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198062233937 |customURL: |steamrepURL: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198062233937
Sorry man--- you may have gotten sharked by someone rather than scammed. While that makes the user a rotten trader that I wouldn't give the time of day to, it isn't a scam since you agreed to the trade based on your preference. SteamRep doesn't handle reports of sharking or bad trades-- we only handle scams where both parties agree on a trade but one party doesn't deliver his side. Disagreements about value for a trade is not what SteamRep handles. I wish you the best of luck rebuilding your collection, and sorry that jerk persuaded you to trade items below their value. Never ever trust the buyer/seller on their own values-- you need to independently confirm with friends, tools, and admins if you're unsure of value.
