I want to report a player that logged into my server claiming to be one of the victims from the batman movie shooting. I don't know if this is the proper forum for this post on this site, but he was impersonating a victim of the shooting to gain items from generous players.

He told players that he was in the hospital and was trying to get them to friend him and give him items.

I looked up his ip and his location was in Pennsylvania. I immediately banned him and reported him to valve.

I just want other admins and players to be aware of this piece of trash and to protect some of their more trusting players from scammers like him.

On his Steam profile, another admin apparently caught him doing the same routine on another server.

This guy is garbage.

Only marking him with a caution due to lack of substantial evidence but the caution is for deception. Thank you for the report.
