So I click on it to see what he was asking for, as i'm personally interested in buying one for about 8 keys or so, which is what I've seen them all go for. It then turned out he was asking for a buds and wasn't even stating it's duped. After I told him that he should notify people of what they're buying and lower the price, in case he might rip off some poor kid who think's he's getting it cheap. He said he had already sold it for a buds and gave hint that he knew it was duped as well. As I'm not the victim nor do I know him, I cannot link a victim, but he was selling it for a buds, which is at least 15 keys over the price and a major scam, and also did not notify that it was duped on the trade. I may be able to add slightly more info but there it is. Dunno what this will do.
This isn't really a scam. It's a buyers burden to research the duplication of an item, if being duplicated even matters to them. In this case you cannot provide evidence that he deceived the buyer of the item.
You value it at 8 keys, he may value it at the bud he payed. However, after you rile him up and go "OMG DUDE U GOT SO SCAMMED DAT IS WORF 8 KEYS" Im sure he will be on board to get this innocent trader tagged. Stop the witch hunt with this stuff already.
Not a scam really. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know what is being bought. That is not a scam UNLESS the seller deliberately attempts to misrepresent the item being traded (i.e. craft number or clean) when it is clearly otherwise.
