im not sure does this count as a scam but i still decided to report... as you can see in those photos, its obvious that im selling an unusual and his "friend" wants to buy it. but the way he offered and talks is just plain weird... first of all that web site is probably a phishing site. i wasint thinking first and i pressed on that link. its nothing there just a plain white screen. thats not an imagine. i probably downloaded something unwanted... second of all... if his friend is offline, how the hell did he sent him a "pic offer" ? if he sent him while he was online why the hell bother making a picture ? why cant he just type down what he offers. who does that? doesint make sense at all. third his profile is set to private. and fourth, he just threw that web link and quickly removed me afterwards, not telling me any info about his friend or how to contact him. hope thats enough info about him.
i think i forgot to put something in here Scammer |steamID: Dick Faggotson |steamID32: STEAM_0:1:52451053 |steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198065167835 |customURL: |steamrepURL: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198065167835
YES THAT IS A PHISHING SCAM Please scan your computer with whatever anti-virus and anti-spyware that you use and after that comes back clean change the password to your steam account. Also watch your inventory history for any suspicious activity, if you see some of your items are being traded away that means that somebody got access to your account. If that happens submit a ticket to steam support. I believe the link exploits a security flaw in some browsers, but I believe Firefox is safe. However it cannot hurt to be sure and take extra precautions.
