Profile of the victim. Profile of the scammer. My trade item history, showing that I did receive the two hats from Trego36. Ballcap on TF2 Items. Napper's Respite on TF2 Items. Link to where the victim first told me about the scammer. Link to Ballcap (on TF2 Items.) Link to Napper's Respite (on TF2 Items). Sonic Spectrum contacted me through the trade post above, and told me that two hats that I received recently are stolen. As shown in my trade history, I did indeed get the two unusuals from Trego36. Oddly, Trego36 does not show up in the history in TF2 Items. While this may not warrant enough information or evidence to mark Trego36 as a scammer, I'm mainly doing this as a favor Sonic Spectrum. He probably knows more details about this, in which I will see if I can contact him for.
Sure thing, I just added him on Steam in case he doesn't read my reply in the TF2 Outpost trade so that I'll be able to talk with him and hopefully get more information. However, if it turns out that Sonic Spectrum didn't happen to take any screenshots or can't supply a good amount of information, I doubt there is much else that can be done.
Unfortunately I didn't know he was an account hijacker until it was too late, and I'm not in the habit of documenting all of my conversations. trego36 is more than definitely an alt, and there is virtually no solid information on his profile that can be used.
An account that's five months old with only 20 hours of TF2 on it. He only has a single friend as well, who has 8 out of 90 scammer friends. Pretty suspicious, but yeah definitely not information.
Asking out of curiosity, http://i.imgur.com/ZrQCb.png on this picture, you received BMOC, 1 earbud, and two unusual by paying using paypal or free?
He had around 20 friends at one point, two of them being yourself and a fellow named DzoT [Hollywood Undead], the person who has the third unusual that was stolen.
